Moon Song 02:55
Moon glow silver through the trees Shine against the fallen leaves White clouds floating from on far Slung low, hanging from a star And now in my dreams Bathing in your beams Sky turns through the night Moon falls out of sight Where do you go when the night is done? Off to chase my love the sun And meet there in that space Dawn and dusk in one embrace And now in my dreams Bathing in your beams Sky turns through the night Moon falls out of sight

Storms roll in on Gila, silt rolls in the creek I need you to hold up my love, for now I'm just too weak Fire burns the prairie, dove sits on an arm Do you have it in yourself to do me any harm? Shadows in the canyon, toads hide in the sand I'm afraid to ask for much when I need a hand Ashes lace the prairie, wing left in the dirt If it doesn't burn away I'll show you where I hurt

This Love 03:20
Take this lullaby, don't cry tonight Everything is alright, and you can sleep tight Take all your fears, you can lay them here Let the sun shine, good things come in time This love it's hard to fake it This love no one can unmake My heart is here for the taking My heart it feels like it's breaking When we're gray and old, will that story get told Of a love on fire, fueled by desire Just look at the stars, I'm not very far Look at the moon, I'll be there soon This love it's hard to fake it This love no one can unmake My heart is here for the taking My heart it feels like it's breaking
4.
My heart is sad and I am lonely For the only one I love When will I see him, oh, no never Til we meet in heaven above Oh, bury me beneath the willow Under the weeping willow tree So he may know where I am sleeping And perhaps he'll weep for me He told me that he dearly loved me How could I believe him untrue? Until the angel softly whispered He will prove untrue to you Oh, bury me beneath the willow Under the weeping willow tree So he may know where I am sleeping And perhaps he'll weep for me Tomorrow was our wedding day Oh, Lord, my God, where can he be? He is out a-courting with another And no longer cares for me Oh, bury me beneath the willow Under the weeping willow tree So he may know where I am sleeping And perhaps he'll weep for me
5.
Still 02:58
Still in the middle of the lake when the water gets cold Still in the water when the leaves turn red and gold, leaves turn red and gold I've found a million little ways to piddle away my time I've found myself a little older can't help myself but I, I'm somehow surprised, I'm somehow surprised It's actually all rather simple, just take your clothes off and get in But everyday I am unlearning that being naked is a sin Still salt in the wound but that's what makes it heal Still wide open but how else would I feel I've found I get caught up when I've thought up a good lie I've found myself a little older can't help myself but I, I'm somehow surprised, I'm somehow surprised It's actually all rather simple, just take your clothes off and get in But everyday I am unlearning that being naked is a sin

about

The Moon EP is named after the corresponding tarot card, a card that signals deep introspection. It's a challenging card and calls for swimming in murky waters, but it's worth it. Howling Mob formed right after a year and a half of global isolation and the Moon EP is the culmination of the first year or so of our work together.
